Peep is a small toy mouse with a very big journey ahead. Bought in an Edinburgh toy shop as a gift for a boy in Moscow, Peep is accidentally lost during a rainy walk through the city. Alone and frightened, he must find the courage to ask for help and discover how messages, postcards, and kindness can connect people across great distances.
With the help of friendly city animals, Peep begins an unexpected adventure that takes him from the streets of Edinburgh all the way to his new home in Moscow. Along the way, he learns that even the smallest traveler can find their way when they reach out and stay brave.
Peep, the Little Mouse Traveler is a visually rich picture book celebrating travel, communication, and emotional resilience. Illustrated city landmarks invite young readers to explore new places, while the story gently introduces the joy of sending postcards and letters.
The book concludes with a playful afterword from Peep and a hands-on postcard-making activity, encouraging children to connect creatively with others. Peep and his new friend Oleg are designed as recurring characters, with strong potential for a series featuring adventures in different cities and countries—each including a unique interactive or educational element.
