My name is Natalia Nik (Nikulina). I’m an artist and illustrator based in Russia.
After graduated in Russia as an artist-stylist (faculty of applied arts), I worked as a graphic designer, art director, and illustrator in an advertising company, as well I have experience as a freelancer. I’ve exhibited my artworks in Russia and Europe. Participated in e-book project Port Skazok and worked as an illustrator in independent projects.
Nowadays, I work on my MFA degree with an emphasis on kid’s book illustration in the Academy of Art University at San Francisco.
I prefer a combination of watercolor and digital technique and ink or graphite. I like to draw the fairytales characters and children’s stories where I find personality in tiny details.
